Who we are
This website is operated by Office space, UAB, company code 306242223, registered at Architektų g. 13-4, Vilnius, Lithuania (referred to below as “we”, “us” or “Space Inline”). We represent European manufacturers of office seating, acoustic booths and modular workspace furniture.
For anything relating to your personal data, write to info@spaceinline.lt. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through spaceinline.lt, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. Cookies and similar technologies are described separately in our Cookie Policy, which lists every cookie in use, its purpose and its lifetime.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or write to us by email, we process the name, email address, company name and message you provide, plus any details you choose to include, such as a phone number, drawings or a project brief. We use this to answer you, prepare a quotation and keep a record of the enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where an order follows, performance of a contract.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records technical data with every request: IP address, date and time, requested address, referring page, browser and operating system. These logs exist to keep the site available and secure, to detect attacks and to investigate faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and stability of the website.
Statistics and measurement
With your consent we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are opened, how visitors arrive and which devices they use. This is set only if you accept statistics cookies in the consent banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Details of the individual cookies are in the Cookie Policy.
Embedded content
Some pages may include content from other services, such as maps or video. That content is blocked until you consent to it, because loading it lets the provider see your IP address and set its own cookies. Those providers act under their own privacy policies.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data.
Who else sees your data
We share personal data only with service providers who need it to work on our behalf, and only for the purposes above:
- our hosting and email provider, for storing the website, the mailbox and the backups;
- Google (Analytics, Search Console) for measurement, when you have consented;
- our accountants and, where necessary, legal advisers, in connection with orders and contracts;
- public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another mechanism permitted under Chapter V of the GDPR.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 12 months from the last message, then deleted.
- Enquiries and correspondence connected to an order: for the duration of the contract and for 10 years afterwards, as required by Lithuanian accounting and archiving rules.
- Server logs: typically up to 3 months, unless a longer period is needed to investigate a security incident.
- Statistics data: for the retention period set in the analytics service, currently [14 months].
- Consent records: kept as proof of consent for as long as required, and the consent itself expires after the period shown in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy of it;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete data where we no longer have grounds to keep it;
- restrict how we use it while a question about it is being resolved;
- transfer data you gave us to another provider in a machine-readable format;
- stop processing based on our legitimate interests, where you object to it;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.
Write to info@spaceinline.lt and we will respond within one month. We may ask for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, vdai.lrv.lt. We would rather hear from you first, so please give us the chance to put things right.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, and — only with your consent — cookies for statistics and marketing. When you first open the site, a consent banner lets you accept or refuse each category; you can change your choice at any time through the consent settings link in the footer.
Every cookie we set, what it does, who sets it and how long it lasts is listed in our Cookie Policy. Please read it together with this policy.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to the content management system is limited to named accounts, software is kept up to date and backups are stored separately. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Where the change is significant, we will make it visible on the site — and where consent is required, we will ask for it again.
